UIL Blending Solutions' Quality Management System
The UIL Blending Solutions Quality Management System operates on the basis of continuous improvement, with constant monitoring of our performance in order to make improvements in all areas of our organisation. Key aspects of the system include:
- Ensuring that customer needs and expectations are continually determined and fulfilled
- Communicating internally the importance of meeting customer needs and legal requirements
- Establishing the Quality Policy and its objectives
- Ensuring that the management review meeting sets and reviews the quality objectives, and reports on the internal audit results as a means of monitoring and measuring the processes and effectiveness of the Quality Management System
- Ensuring the availability of resources
Our Quality Certification
BRCGS Food Certified
The British Retail Consortium Global Standards (BRCGS) is a leading brand and consumer protection organisation, used by over 29,000 certificated suppliers over 130 countries, with certification issued through a global network of accredited certification bodies. BRCGS' Standards guarantee the standardisation of quality, safety and operational criteria and ensure that manufacturers fulfil their legal obligations and provide protection for the end consumer. Certification to BRCGS' Standards is now often a fundamental requirement of leading retailers, manufacturers and food service organisations.
The Global Standard for Food Safety was first developed in 1998 by the food service industry to enable suppliers to be audited against a single, consistent standard, by third party Certification Bodies. Built on the principles of clear risk-based requirements, informative reporting and auditor competence, the Standard has developed and evolved with input from a wide base of international stakeholders including retailers, caterers, food manufacturers and Certification Bodies.
The Standard is closely managed by the BRCGS who license the use of the Standard to Certification Bodies who must be both accredited by their national Accreditation Body and abide by strict BRCGS requirements for auditor competency, reporting and performance.
